Complimentary salsa tasting to start with 4 very good and unique salsas. I ordered the steak fajitas which were enough for at least 2 people!The dish was missing the fresh avocado that was listed on the menu.The environment was warm & colourful, and the food came out very quickly. However, once served the waitress did not check back in.Overall I would definitely return! Authentic and delicious food.

Wow. We just had the best (late) lunch!We thought we'd finally give this place a try, and we were not disappointed. The food was INCREDIBLE and the margaritas were . But best of all, the owner/operator was such a great guy, with personality, a sense of humor, and very down to earth. We will be back and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Go ahead and try it, you will not regret it!

Tasty goop dip is served here as an appetizer! Nice atmosphere with Mexican music playing etc…

El Super Taco in Medicine Hat is hands down, one of the best Mexican restaurant in town! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, friendly atmosphere and top-notch service. The complimentary chips and salsa set the tone for an amazing meal, and every dish is packed with authentic flavors! Really feels like you're in Mexico!!!The portion sizes are generous, the ingredients taste fresh, and you can tell a lot of love goes into the food. Whether you're craving tacos, quesadillas, or something more traditional, this place delivers every time. If you're looking for real Mexican food in Medicine Hat, El Super Taco is a must-visit! Highly recommended!

Good & authentic Mexican food, good decor, very friendly staff, very clean inside and fairly priced... which is almost impossible to find in 2025. Place is a total home run. 100% recommend. Will return.

If I could give more stars, I absolutely would! The service was far above the norm as they checked on you often without being intrusive. The food was exceptionally good, fresh and hot, and authentic, and the atmosphere was really nice, too.So you find your table and immediately are brought these incredible, fresh, and warm chips and several authentic dipping sauces. Caution! If you are spicy enough, like me, then dip a tiny corner of one of the chips in first before trying them because they are spicy and even more Caution for the one in the middle with the lid. That one should come with a little fire truck. But if you are someone who enjoys spicy dips and food, then you will be in Heaven. Just like my Mom. I had the chicken Fajita, which were so good and generous, and my Mom had the fish tacos, which she said were to die for. The fish was crispy, and the little soft tacos were warm and yummy. (Sorry, my phone died. So, no photos)Again, the server came around and asked if I wanted more chips. Of course, I didn't know you could have MORE of those delicious chips, and if I wanted more tortillas too.We will definitely be returning and trying something else on the menu! El Super Taco is my favourite Mexican restaurant in the Hat. We come here all the time and absolutely love it. Tacos? Amazing. Margaritas? Delicious. Their horchata is one of the best I’ve had. Complimentary chips and salsa when dining in? Yes please. Family owned. Definitely worth a try if you have yet to go!

Had to try it after seeing the rating. If you like to mix things up and feel like you are down in your bungalow in a small Mexican town then they have all the flavors of that. We only tried a few dishes and it was on point. The chips and salsas were a classic starter. Exactly what you would get. And so many great choices in the mains. Our dish was beef and pork Tortas. The bun alone was great perfect meat and yeah I threw the table salsa on it for that hit. It's funny to pay for an imported Pacifico I wanted the flavor. So it's not in pesos. Don't be cheap. Just go and enjoy. The place is perfect! All my friends in the hat, stop by have a Mexican coke and some tacos for lunch. And you can practice your Mexican instead of just Duolingo. The soup will be next time. Cheers and enjoy!
